Enrollment

Now enrolling for the school year, Oxford Academy is a nondenominational Christian-based school where children newborn to five years old begin their journeys as lifelong learners in a caring, nurturing environment.

i

Curriculum

We encourage children’s desire to learn with the Abeka Book approach – a Christian-based curriculum. Refined over 50 years by dedicated scholars the Abeka program is a leading academic program throughout the country.

Programs

Our programs provide children the opportunity to experience, experiment and understand how to learn together in an atmosphere that encourages collaboration, a sense of community and fairness.

About Us

Oxford Academy is a family-owned and operated nondenominational Christian-based daycare learning environment for children ages newborn to five years. Since 1987, we have provided families with a loving, nurturing home away from home that stimulates, inspires and encourages children as they develop.

Safety Comes First

Safety for our families and children is our first priority. Our facilities feature secure, pin-activated lobbies and exits, visitor clearance precautions, and camera monitoring for the classrooms as well as the building exterior. We also provide required annual staff training and biannual first aid and CPR certifications for our teachers.

Our Pre-School. Our Family. Our Community

The quality of early childhood development is largely dependent on the connection between parents and their child care providers. To help establish that connection and keep it ongoing, we provide the Tadpoles app for communication between parents and staff. Parents receive photos and videos throughout the day and a detailed report of their child’s activities at the end of each day. The app also offers parents a quick and relevant mode of communication from the facility for important updates or in the uncommon case of an emergency.

Our Values

Fun & Happy

We utilize fun teaching methods such as activities and games, singing of songs, art, even acting to ensure the kids enjoy their lessons and form a positive outlook to learning.

Fulfill With Love

Put simply, we help children learn how to learn. With lots of love and hugs lining the path, we guide children toward positive social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth in a home away from home setting.

Fully Equipped

Our facilities have indoor and outdoor creative spaces with sufficient toys and art and craft supplies. We start preparing our kids for the technology powered world we live in through computer classes.

Certified Teachers

Our teachers are highly qualified caregivers and educators focused on offering the highest standards in early childhood development and education.

Our Results

Thanks in part to our strong rapport with Atlanta area private and public schools, we are continually evaluating and evolving our program to stay ahead of educational requirements. The result? Our preschoolers are more than prepared for their big transition to kindergarten. In fact, many of our students have been accepted into premier private schools or advanced learning programs and we are frequently complimented by both schools and parents on how well we have prepared their child.

What Our Families are Saying

The administration and teachers are so caring and giving of their time. They loved our son and provided a safe environment for him to learn, grow and to socialize with other children.

– Jim and Niki W.

Every day we drop our son off into a safe and nurturing environment where we know he will learn life, Christian, and academic lessons that will provide him with a strong foundation for primary school.

– Tara E.

Nothing is more comforting for a working “away from home” mom than to know my boys are being well-cared for by people who have the same values, hopes and dreams as we do!

– Kelly C.

Positive Parenting Checklist

Positive Parenting Checklist

As parents, we often have the best intentions, but pressured by stress and our busy schedules we might find it challenging to always parent in a positive way. When the daily duties get the best of us and we lose patience and focus, our interactions with our children might become reactive and can lead to conflict.
